ABOUT LUN*NA MENOH
Lun*na Menoh is a Japanese-born singer, designer, sewing artist who lives in Los Angeles. Her work deals with fashion, clothing and exposing the invisible thread between performance and fabric by making sculpturesque dresses, paintings, and a series of fashion shows with her conceptual but wearable outfits.
Starting in 1999, she made a number of paintings of men's white dress shirts that are given a dirty stained ring around the collar. An exhibition of her paintings, “Dirty Laundry” was the inaugural exhibition in the SPARC Gallery in 2015.
In early 2000, she started making music with the bands Seksu Roba and her own group Jean Paul Yamamoto. Currently her band Les Sewing Sisters creates pop songs about dresses & dress making, approached with experimental touches, such as using the sewing machine as a musical instrument.
DJ Black Rabbit has been DJing professionally for 10 years. Originally hailing from Philadelphia Pa and now residing in Los Angeles, he brings a unique style of blends and mixes that has been shaped by providing music for clubs, lounges, and private events all over the east coast.
Starting from a purely Hip-Hop background, DJ Black Rabbit has evolved into a well rounded DJ that can rock an all funk lounge set, to a soulful House party, and end the night rocking the largest radio hits at the club.
